Mule deer doe killed, left to waste in Jefferson County
Oregon State Police are asking for the public's help to find whoever was behind the illegal take and waste of a mule deer doe in Jefferson County. OSP Fish and Wildlife said the doe was found in the area of NW Hart Street in Madras on June 13 after it was shot with an arrow. The doe likely had been killed the same day and left to waste. The specific location where it was shot is unknown, OSP said.
COCC receives $500K grant for Madras Campus

A youth group from Spokane is putting on a basketball camp in Warm Springs today thru Friday for kids in kindergarten thru 6th grade. It’s each day from 9am to noon at the old elementary gym.
