One Louisiana veteran, Lance Westphal, served in the Army from 2018 to 2021. He wanted to find a job back home after medically retiring from service but needed a little help first.

The game of golf is alive and well in the state of Louisiana. According to golflink.com there are 140 golf courses in Louisiana. Eighty of those courses are public courses, another 30 are private courses, and still another 30 would qualify to be called municipal golf courses. Louisiana even has its own "Golf Trail".

Black bears are running rampant in Louisiana and another huge bear has been spotted in south Louisiana. In the social media group Louisiana Black Bear Report, Randy Bergeron posted photos of a huge black bear near a deer feeder, and by the looks of it, this bear has been eating well near Palmetto, Louisiana.
