Yavapai College Launches AI Course as Part of Computer Science AAS Degree Program
New AI course is part of College Computer Science AAS Degree Program. Prescott, Arizona (July 15, 2024) – Yavapai College is embracing the study of Artificial Intelligence and all the possibilities it can offer students. This Fall, YC’s School of Computer Science – in partnership with Intel – is introducing an Artificial Intelligence course as part of an improved, two-year Associate of Arts & Sciences Degree synchronized with the needs of the modern workplace.
United Food Bank grants $191,583 to fellow Arizona nonprofits
Through its collaborative efforts with over a hundred agencies and community partners, Mesa-based United Food Bank is able to serve more than two million Arizonans annually. United Food Bank supports its agency partners with its annual RISE Agency Grant Program. Through this program, United Food Bank will be distributing a total of $191,583 to 32 agencies.

YCSO's very own Deputy Do-Right was the honored guest at halftime of the NAZ Wranglers IFL football game in Prescott Valley July 13th, as the Wranglers wished Do-Right a happy birthday. The large crowd joined in the celebration by singing "Happy Birthday", and Wrangler mascot Whiskie presented his counterpart with a bag of Wranglers swag, including an autographed picture of QB Joshua Jones. Do-Right is always a crowd favorite at Wrangler games, mingling with the fans, getting pictures with the kids, and taking part in things like the opening coin toss and several halftime special events.
