Fatal Shootings Mar Fourth of July Celebrations in Chicago and Cleveland
Two women, aged 42 and 22, were tragically killed in a home in Chicago’s south side. The incident occurred when two vehicles arrived and multiple assailants fired shots at the house. Deputy Chief Don Jerome confirmed multiple shell casings from both a rifle and a handgun were found at the scene.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb’s finance chief, Ahmed Abonamah, has tendered his resignation, effective July 19. The city announced the move in a Friday news release but offered no reason for Abonamah’s seemingly abrupt resignation. According to a report, Ford may be coming off a breakout season but Nick Chubb is back so the Browns may trade him. Ford has been taking over the reps as the starter since week two last year after Chubb’s injury. He was able to wheel in 1,132 total yards that season after having a limitation in his rookie season so they could move on from him.
