A Popular Farmers Market Vendor is Opening a Cedar Rapids Cafe
Get ready for a new cafe in SE Cedar Rapids! Thanks to a new article from The Cedar Rapids Gazette, we now know that The Salsa Guy is set to open a brick-and-mortar location!. According to the official Facebook page, The Salsa Guy offers "fresh, high-quality, locally produced salsas, guacamoles, salad dressings, and BBQ sauces." You can typically find them serving up delicious breakfast burritos on 2nd Ave during the Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers Markets, but they also sell their products inside of local Hy-Vee stores. I know this because I buy a container of their Summer Salsa from the Oakland Road Hy-Vee at least once a month. It's SO GOOD.

Dale Wambold receives inaugural Reinbeck Citizen Spotlight Award
REINBECK – Dale Wambold may not have been born and raised in Reinbeck – or even Grundy County, for that matter – but after spending nearly four decades living in, working for, and giving back to the small town community he loves, Wambold has certainly earned his Reinbeck cred. Area Fourth of July Celebrations are Open to the Public
The area will be full of fireworks celebrations on the Fourth of July. Starting in Buffalo Center where the Fire Department will have a display scheduled to begin at dusk or 9:30pm at Bison Field. The public is invited to attend the event. The celebration is a result of the money donated at Easter during the annual Pancake Day breakfast.

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - King’s Harvest Pet Rescue is still hosting it’s Cuddle and Comfort event on Wednesday, despite the rescheduling of Red, White and Boom!.
