Two months after tornadoes swept through Benton County, cities continue cleanup efforts
BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — Benton County has picked up about 450,000 cubic yards of debris from county-maintained roads and streets outside of city limits. According to Melody Kwok with Benton County, their first pickup pass focused on tree stumps and vegetative debris, now they aim to finish the first phase by Aug. 18 before moving on to phase two.
$12.1 million granted for rural Oklahoma water projects by Biden-Harris

One month left for Benton County residents to apply for FEMA assistance
BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — As Benton County residents continue to rebuild after the Memorial Day weekend tornadoes, assistance is still available. Officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) said those impacted by storms on May 24-27 in Baxter, Benton, Boone, Fulton, Greene, Madison, Marion, and Randolph counties have until Aug. 28 to apply for assistance.

20 New Homes In NE Oklahoma To Be Built With Zero Percent Interest Loans
20 new homes in northeastern Oklahoma will soon be built, thanks to a new statewide housing program that provides zero percent interest construction loans for developers. Green Country Habitat for Humanity will build 10 homes in Wagoner, Grand Housing Solutions, Inc. will build five homes in Grove, and Old School Construction will build five homes in the Estates at Edgewood in Collinsville.
