Merle Haggard Statue and Tribute Concert Coming To Oklahoma
A statue of the late country music legend Merle Haggard will be unveiled on October 10 followed by a tribute concert to the "Okie from Muskogee" The Merle Haggard Statue Committee has been working on the project for about 15 years. Executive Director of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame Tony Corbell dropped by the Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch to talk about the concert and this historic event.

Tulsa police arrested a man they said went to several restaurants around the city and stole plumbing parts from their bathrooms. A probable cause affidavit said Austen Bumsted walked into the restrooms at places like McDonald's, Braum's, Chick-fil-A, QuikTrip, and Waffle House and took items like flushing handles, valves, pipes, and sensors.
