High School Football is getting closer and as we always do we will kick off the football season with the Camden Shrine Club Football Jamboree. It will take place on August 16th at Historic Zemp Stadium with three mini games starting at 6:30 with North Central vs Calhoun County followed at 7:30 when Lugoff Elgin faces Lamar and in the night cap at 8:30 the Camden High Bulldogs will battle Blackville Hilda.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A Lugoff man is facing more than two decades in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor. Chad Michael Rabon, 34, will spend 25 years in federal prison. He is already a registered sex offender, which landed him two additional counts of commission of a felony sex offense involving a minor by a registered sex offender. He plead guilty to that charge as well.
