MOODY, Ala.–A Homewood police officer is recovering after being shot while on his way to work Sunday morning, according to the Moody Police Department. According to Moody Police Chief Reece Smith, the Homewood police officer was shot at multiple times while sitting in his car outside of an apartment at the 2700 block of Ross Drive in Moody.
