Folsom Police seek community help to locate missing woman
The Folsom Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating an “at risk” missing person, Terri Thompson-Liggett. Thompson-Liggett, 67, is described as a white female, 5 feet 1 inch tall. She was last seen wearing a t-shirt and black pants. She was driving a Toyota Camry which relatives say is dark blue in color with California license plate 7YEL129. Her last known location was Thursday evening near Green Valley Road in El Dorado County, according to information released by the Folsom Police Department Friday evening.
Pleasant temperatures and wildfire smoke in Northern California
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Park Fire continues to burn to the north, but the weather in Sacramento area is expected to be quite pleasant throughout the weekend. The Park Fire continues to expand northward toward Shingletown, CA and away from the KCRA viewing area because of gusty south winds. Winds are expect to continue in the southwesterly direction over the coming days as well. Smoke from the fire creating hazardous air quality and is moving to the north and east, impacting areas like Lassen National Park and pushing into Nevada.

FOLSOM, Calif. — Folsom police are looking for an at-risk elderly woman who has been missing since Thursday. Terri Liggett is described by the Folsom Police Department as a 67-year-old woman with silver hair and blue eyes, standing at about 5-foot, 1-inch tall. She was last seen in a t-shirt and black pants in the area of Green Valley Road in El Dorado County.
Investigation underway after inmate dies, another revived at Sacramento County main jail
SACRAMENTO – An investigation is underway after an inmate at the Sacramento County main jail died and another was revived on Friday morning, the sheriff's office said. Around 11:15 a.m., deputies responded to a cell for reports of two unresponsive men. They were removed from the cell and deputies administered first aid, including Narcan to both inmates multiple times.
