Georgetown Co. man arrested on drug, gun charges following traffic stop
GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCSC) - The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office says a man is facing charges after a K-9 found drugs and weapons during a traffic stop. Dmico Moore, 42, of Georgetown, is charged with possession of 54.5 grams of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a stolen handgun, jail records state.

Mount Pleasant cops were called to a report of an infant found in a backyard pool. The cops who arrived took care of the baby before taking it to East Cooper Medical. An incident report says that when cops talked to someone at the house, they said they were watching TV with the child when, 10 minutes later, he found the baby outside.

Indie South Carolina film 'Bull Street' screening in Rock Hill, Columbia, Mt. Pleasant
ROCK HILL — Palmetto movie lovers have more time to see "Bull Street," a South Carolina-based drama starring Loretta Devine and Amy Madigan. The film opened June 7 at Regal Cinemas in Rock Hill, Columbia and Mount Pleasant. Director Lynn Dow said the theatres initially agreed to show it for a week. Regal extended the movie through June 20, allowing Dow and executive producer Wendy Tucker-Tannock to attend a few showings and meet with theater-goers after the movie. They took questions at the Regal Manchester in Rock Hill on June 13, then did the same in Columbia the next night.
