NORTH CHARLESTON — Charleston County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Lake City shooting suspect June 27 in Awendaw, according to a department press release. Timetrius Brown, 19, of Lake City was taken into custody after deputies patrolling the area of North Highway 17 and Doar Road spotted a vehicle flagged in a law enforcement database.
SC ‘seafood school’ trains students for careers
Graduates of a new month-long apprenticeship program in coastal South Carolina hope to find jobs in the commercial fishing and mariculture industries. The inaugural class of the South Carolina Commercial Seafood Apprenticeship Program recently wrapped up.
