Police have arrested Pennsylvania couple Emily Jane Dickinson and Joshua Coleman Wooters and charged them with allegedly killing their just-born son in March.

Dickinson and Wooters were arrested in McConnellsburg, a borough located in Fulton County, roughly 125 miles east of Pittsburgh.

    What we know.

Published reports indicate Dickinson, 20, and Wooters, 19, were charged with homicide in the death of their son.

On the morning of Monday, March 11, Dickinson, according to the report, gave birth to the boy and was rocking him before carrying him to the bathroom and throwing him out of a second-story window.

The report indicates law enforcement found the baby dead at a McConnellsburg intersection along with other items - including the placenta and a bloody mattress - from the home, a short time later.

The 4-pound baby was less than 24 inches long and believed to be at 36 weeks gestation.

Dickinson, as pointed out in the published report, told law enforcement that she believed her newborn son was deformed and that he had already passed away before throwing him out the window.

Wilkinson also told police she may have been hallucinating at the time of the crime.

The published report indicates that Dickinson and Wooters have been charged with homicide; conspiracy to commit homicide; concealing the death of a child; and abuse of corpse, which is second-degree misdemeanor.

Wooters faces an additional charge of obstructing law enforcement.

The couple have been held without bond, and both have preliminary hearings scheduled in Fulton County on Wednesday, July 10.
