(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – An 18-year-old male was wounded in a shooting on South Alvord Street, prompting a police investigation and a call for public assistance. On Saturday, July 27, 2024, at approximately 9:44 p.m., Syracuse Police officers responded to a reported shooting on the 100 block of South Alvord Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered an 18-year-old male with gunshot wounds to his leg.
