New operator emerges to take over the Joe Squared pizza restaurant space in Station North
Eight months after Joe Squared closed its pizza restaurant and entertainment venue in Station North, a new restaurateur has emerged to take its place. Baltimore’s liquor board has set a hearing for Aug. 8 to consider an application from a Baltimore businessman who is seeking a Class ‘B’ Beer, Wine and Liquor license for a restaurant at 33 W. North Avenue, where Joe Squared closed at the end of 2023 after operating for many years.

Foreman Wolf to end involvement with Cindy Lou’s Fish House at Harbor Point
As of Thursday, the Foreman Wolf restaurant group will no longer be connected to the waterfront restaurant it opened in 2020 at Harbor Point, Cindy Lou’s Fish House. MCFRS Responds to Outlet Fire in ICU Room of Hospital Monday Morning
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) were dispatched to 8600 Old Georgetown Rd in Bethesda for an outlet fire in the ICU room of Suburban Hospital. According to Assistant Chief David Pazos, the small fire has been extinguished and there were no injuries. Units on scene are working to clear out any smoke before releasing property back to hospital staff.
