RICHMOND, Ky. – Former Colonel Isaiah Cozart has signed to play professionally for RASTA Vechta in the German Basketball League. RASTA plays in the easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga, which includes 18 teams in the highest German basketball league and organizes the German Championship and the BBL Cup. Eastern KY town plans mural to commemorate 2022 flood
A $20,000 grant from AARP Kentucky will help rebuild sidewalks in Jenkins damaged by the deadly 2022 flood that took the lives of 45 residents. Rachel Rosolina, communications director for the nonprofit Appalshop, explained because its headquarters were severely damaged by the flooding, staff has temporarily moved to neighboring Jenkins, where the grant will help improve walkability.
