Cortland Community Pride Festival takes place this weekend
CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — The Cortland LGBTQ Center is hosting their Pride Festival on Saturday, July 13th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cortland’s second annual Pride Festival is back this year to bring a family-friendly celebration with more than sixty-five vendors, games, giveaways, a costume contest, and a drag show. The event will take place at Courthouse Park in Cortland, located at 33 Church Street.

SNAPSHOT: SUNY Morrisville EOP peer mentors prepare for EOP Summer Academy
Communication and collaboration were key for 15 Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) peer mentors taking part in team-building exercises in preparation for this year’s EOP Summer Academy at SUNY Morrisville. More than 100 students are expected to participate in the academy, a four-week intensive summer program designed to assist students with adjusting to college and providing a foundation for academic success. The program runs from July 14-Aug. 10. In addition to team-building activities, peer mentors are also participating in mandated training.
