Moreno Dominant Again as Ponies Shutout Fisher Cats for Eighth Straight Win
MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Binghamton Rumble Ponies (10-6, 45-38) shutout the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4-0 on Saturday night at Delta Dental Stadium for their eighth straight win, all on the road (three at Hartford, five at New Hampshire). It is the second time Binghamton has won eight straight games this season. Luis Moreno (3-2) allowed just three hits over a season-high seven innings and combined with Cam Robinson for Binghamton’s seventh shutout of the season, fifth since June 27, and second this week.
Restaurant worker tests positive for hepatitis A in Cortland, health officials warn
CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) – The Cortland County Health Department (CCHD) confirms a local restaurant worker has tested positive for hepatitis A. The individual is a food handler at Queen Subs. Health officials say the risk of infection is low, but if you ate or drank anything at the shop between June 20 and July 3, you may need to be vaccinated or monitor for symptoms. Vaccines are effective within two weeks of exposure.

Cortland Man Arrested After Intentionally Damaging Property, Prevented Person From Calling 9-1-1
Around 3am on Sunday, July 7th, officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the Town of Cortlandville for a reported disturbance. After an investigation into the disturbance, officers determined 19 year old Kanye J. Israel of Cortland, had damaged property and prevented a person from contacting 9-1-1.
