Another Aldi grocery store is coming to the Lone Star State. The Batavia, Illinois-based company has announced the details on its website. The 128th store in the state will be at 2117 TX-256 Loop Palestine, which is a little over 100 miles southeast of Dallas.

Aldi first came to the US from Germany when it opened its first store in Iowa in 1976. Since then, the company has grown to nearly 2400 locations across the States. Back in March of this year, Aldi dropped a press release indicating their intentions to open 800 new US stores by the end of 2028. This new store is part of that initiative.

The grand opening for the Palastine location is set for August 1st, there will be ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:30 am and the store will open for business a half hour later.

    What do you think?

Will you shop Aldi if they come to your town?
