4 New Supermarkets Coming to Florida Soon

Florida is now the 3rd largest state in the US by population, behind California and Texas. The Sunshine State has around 22.6 million residents. That's a lot of mouths to feed, so it should come as no surprise that every month, it seems a new supermarket, or two, or three, is planned for somewhere in the state. August is no different.

Sprouts Farmers Market has plans for three new stores in the state, bringing the total to 48 in Florida. Here is where they will be.

• 111 Links Ave., Sarasota—- Opening August 6th
• 7187 Coastal Blvd., Brooksville——Opening August 9th
• 2156 E. Bay Dr., Largo——The only indicaton on opening for this store is “coming soon”

Publix, an established mainstay presence in the state is also getting ready to open a new store, that one will be at:

• 11341 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville—Opening August 15th.

Publix operates nearly 870 stores in Florida alone.
