H-E-B Announces Plans for 2 New Locations in Texas

H-E-B, the popular grocery store chain operates 435 stores in Texas and Mexico. The company which is headquartered in San Antonio, issued 2 press releases last week announcing plans for two new stores in Texas.

The first will be east of Austin in Manor, Texas. The 101,000 square foot facility will be located at Hwy 290 and FM 973. Construction is underway at the site and the store is expected to open late in 2025.

Construction will soon be underway for a massive 140,000 square foot store in Forney, Texas. That store will be located at US 80 and Gateway Blvd. Forney is located about 20 miles east of Dallas in Kaufman County. That location is not expected to open until 2026.

H-E-B does in the neighborhood of $43 Billion in sales annually and employs over 160,000.
