A house was razed by a fire this morning in West Wheatfield Township. Indiana County 911 initially dispatched Clyde, New Florence, and Bolivar firefighters, Citizens’ Ambulance and the RIT team to a home along Mulligan Hill Road around 5:09 this morning, with Armagh, Blacklick, Blairsville, Fairfield Township, Middle Taylor, and Homer City crews called in to assist between 5:16 and 6:30.

Man shot, injured at Pennsylvania Trump rally released from hospital
One of the two men shot and injured in the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump has been released from the hospital, officials said. David Dutch, 57, was discharged on Wednesday, Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh said. Dutch was shot in the chest and liver and was initially in a medically induced coma after the shooting, according to the Marine Corps League of Pennsylvania. Dutch is a former Marine who serves as commandant of his Marine Corps League detachment, the organization said.

A Sewell man is accused of defrauding an elderly woman by taking $340,000 while posing as a licensed contractor over more than a year.
