IOWA CITY, Iowa-- The Hawkeyes haven't had an all-Big Ten wide receiver since Marvin McNutt back in 2011. New Iowa offensive coordinator Tim Lester is hoping to bring some new excitement back to the position. Following the 2023 season, Iowa needed some more numbers at the position. Hawkeyes Earn AVCA Team Academic Award
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa volleyball program earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, the organization announced on Wednesday. The Hawkeyes have been recognized for this honor twice, previously in 2014. To obtain the honor, the team must maintain a year-long GPA of at least 3.30. The Hawkeyes held a 3.52 GPA throughout the year.
