Massive 916,000-pound load to depart Adams County for New Albany Intel plant next week
Columbus, Ohio – On Wednesday, August 7, the fifteenth of nearly two dozen “super loads” and the last of four loads exceeding 900,000 pounds will leave the dock site in Adams County. The convoy will head to New Albany to deliver this substantial load to the new Intel plant in Licking County. This air processor, known as a cold box, is crucial for the silicon chip manufacturing process. The cold box measures approximately 23 feet tall, 20 feet wide, and 280 feet long, weighing an impressive 916,000 pounds.
Workshop hosted by Jegna Corporation promotes healthy behaviors in local youth
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Jegna Corporation continues its efforts to reach out to local youth before it's too late. "Know Your Rites" was another of many workshops organized to teach kids, parents, and professionals who work with youth about the challenges faced by young people today and tactics to keep them on the right path. Several guest speakers held separate sessions catered towards each group, with boys and girls breaking into their own groups as well. Participants learned about topics like emotional literacy, setting goals, and how trauma can lead to unhealthy behavior.

Superior Credit Union breaks ground to expand Ottawa branch

Superior officials say they really outgrew the building shortly after they opened it, and now they will be adding more office space for the growth of their services like mortgages and investments in Putnam County. Clients with Allen County Children Services were able to get first choice items, with the sale being open to the public at noon. The choices were endless and included clothing, shoes, housewares, decorations, and more. You could see the smiles on the faces of children that were finding a toy, or two, or even three that were new to them. Those shopping were thankful for the opportunity to get items that will help at home.
