COLUMBUS, Ohio — The northern lights were visible for parts of central Ohio early Wednesday morning. The Space Weather Prediction Center expected a solar storm Tuesday evening that could result in a K5 to K7 level Aurora. These weren't be as bright or as widely visible as what we saw a few months ago but the lights were visible as far south as northern Ohio.

Jury finds Lima man guilty of drug possession
Jul. 31—LIMA — An Allen County jury found a Lima man guilty Wednesday of possession of cocaine after a two-day jury trial. The jury also found the state proved that Lloyd Horton, 32, possessed between 27 and 100 grams of cocaine because Horton was found with about 27.51 grams of cocaine. 36th annual festival returns to downtown Mount Vernon
