Eric Packard of Calvert County has earned a Master Angler Milestone Award under the Maryland Department of Natural Resources’ (DNR) FishMaryland program. The award recognizes recreational anglers who catch ten trophy-sized fish of different species in Maryland. Packard is the eleventh Master Angler since the program began in 2019.

3 local water projects set to receive thousands in grant funding
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Three local sewer and water projects will receive funding from the West Virginia Infrastructure and Jobs Development Council. Preston County PSD 1 was approved to receive a $955,000 grant for improvements to its water system. These funds, along with funds from the Congressionally Directed Spending, CDS Match and the Preston County Commission, provide a total of $2.4 million for the project.
