Vietnam Veterans Memorial replica wall to visit Hutchinson
The Wall That Heals, a Vietnam Veterans Memorial replica and mobile education center, is scheduled to visit Hutchinson Aug. 22-25. The attraction will be located at 1150 Benjamin Ave. SE and is hosted by the McLeod County Veterans Memorial Park. The replica and education center will have free admission and will be open to the public 24 hours a day during its stay.

United Way of McLeod County; Bruins to host Books & Baseball for first time in Brownton
The United Way of McLeod County is hosting a Books & Baseball event with the Brownton Bruins on June 30 at Barney Tadsen Field in Brownton at 2:30 p.m. It will be the first time that the United Way of McLeod County hosted the event in Brownton. The event will allow kids to receive a free baseball-themed book, a free hotdog and water, the chance to run the bases at the field, team reading time, and free admission to the game after the event.
