Hometown: Las Vegas, Nev. Eugene Brooks, a top-100 recruit in the 2024 class, came to OU from California. He started receiving college offers the summer before his sophomore year of high school. By the time he received an OU offer in the summer of 2023, his offer sheet was deep, including programs like USC, Oregon, Georgia, and Florida State. However, Brooks’ decision came down to a Red River duel. He visited both programs in the summer of 2023 before committing to the Sooners.
