Sheldon Fugitive Starts Prison Term
Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A Sheldon man who never showed up to serve his prison term has been apprehended in Arizona and returned to Iowa. 33-year-old Steven Vorasith had been paroled on a Class D Felony conviction in Buena Vista County for Willful Assault Causing Bodily Injury, but had that probation revoked in February of 2021.
Mariners and Phillies are Kayenta Little League champs
The 2024 Li’l Mustang Co-Ed Baseball and T-ball League Championship took place July 13 in Kayenta. The T-ball division for ages 4-9 was won by the Mariners, with D-backs as the runners-up. The baseball division for ages 10-14 was won by the Phillies, with the Dodgers the runners-up.
