Jerson Alonzo Antunez, the child’s father, was arrested at the age of 38. The agency announced on Wednesday that Antununez was seeking to be removed from the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Department in Louisiana due to allegations of unlawfully harassing telephone communications. The child is in excellent health and has been reunited with his mother, according to officials from the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Department.
