Anchorage Police involved in a 5th shooting in less than two months
In the early hours of Monday morning, gunfire started the day. It was at Circle K off Bragaw that police were called out to the scene at around 3:30 a.m. in regards to a disturbance involving a weapon and reports of one shot being fired. Newly appointed chief of police Sean Case held a news conference at APD’s headquarters. Chief Case was appointed by newly elected Mayor Suzanne LaFrance, taking over from Bianca Cross. He shared some of the details of the shooting.
