Rehearsals are under way for a dinner-mystery play to be performed at the Fred Vinson Museum on August 30th and 31st. The play revolves around a woman and her three sisters who are out celebrating her birthday at a place called Café Murder—with an ending impossible to predict.
Two arrested in Pikeville home invasion
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Two people have been arrested following a home invasion in Pikeville last week. Police say multiple individuals entered a home on Bridge Street just before midnight last Thursday, told the people there to empty their pockets, and threatened to beat up or shoot anyone who didn’t comply.

Coroner identifies man, woman who died in Valley Station murder-suicide
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Jefferson County Coroner identified the two people killed in what they called a murder-suicide Sunday. Louisville police responded to a call of a shooting in the 10200 block of Dodge Lane just before 6 p.m. There, they found a man and woman who had been shot. The woman died before she could be transported, and the man was taken to UofL Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
