HOOPESTON — Hoopeston police arrested two men on Thursday for allegedly possessing methamphetamine. The Hoopeston Police Department arrested Anthony J. Chandler, 42, near West Maple Street and South First Avenue around 1 a.m. after identifying he had an active warrant from Vermilion County for failure to appear in court for allegedly possessing methamphetamine.
