On June 24, 2024, Deputies responded to Pine Grove Road in Clarksville for a disturbance. During the investigation, Corporal Desantis concluded that no assault had taken place and advice was given to the complainant in how to further pursue charges and/or a protective order. After multiple phone calls to the Mecklenburg Communication Center, deputies responded again. The female caller, Brittany Garratt, was intoxicated. The dispatcher was having trouble understanding her phone conversation. Once on scene, the 42-year-old female walked outside on her porch causing a disturbance arguing with the responding deputies. Deputies then arrested Garrat for Public Intoxication.
