BIG RAPIDS — With heavy rain passing through Michigan on Wednesday, the Figure 8 Demolition Derby at the Mecosta County Free Fair has been canceled. “Tonight’s Grand Stand Event, Unique Motorsports Figure 8 Race, has been canceled,” the Mecosta County Free Fair stated in a Facebook post Tuesday. “Mother Nature hasn’t been nice, making it impossible for the race to happen.
