Field day in Corona to highlight student research, livestock technology
Taylor Andrews counts herself among the lucky ones who gets to conduct unique research at New Mexico State University’s Corona Range and Livestock Research Center. Andrews is a doctoral student majoring in animal science at NMSU, and has worked as a graduate assistant in Corona for three years. She has completed three dissertation projects at the center, located eight miles east of Corona, where she has found a second home of sorts.

We first heard public concerns that conducting aquatic center maintenance from September to April could negatively impact swim teams and other users. While contractor availability will play a role in scheduling, the PRB is committed to working with the Community Services Department (CSD) to minimize disruptions. Public comments like these are invaluable, and we encourage community input at the start of all our meetings to better serve public interests.

The show will begin when the sky is totally dark, likely around 9 p.m., according to Jessica Bollema, the Assistant Director of the Chamber of Commerce. The show will include choreographed music, which viewers can hear by tuning into the radio stations AM 990 and FM 93.7, Bollema said.
