White Eagle hosts 3rd annual Polish Festival in Worcester's Canal District
WORCESTER, Mass. — Hundreds turned out to the Canal District Saturday for the third annual Polish Festival. The festivities were hosted by the White Eagle. The bar became an established Polish club in 1937 in what they describe as a very Polish part of the city. The day, which is highlighted by traditional Polish cuisine, music and entertainment, is part of an effort to grow and celebrate the history of the Polish community throughout central Massachusetts.
Worcester looks to use remaining ARPA funds before end-of-year deadline
WORCESTER, Mass. — The city of Worcester has committed or spent around $100 million of the $146 million it received through the American Rescue Plan Act. Some of the remaining funds have already been earmarked and the city says it's making progress to allocate all the money before the ARPA deadline of Dec. 31.

Man who died after being pulled from Stow lake was former Hudson fire chief
A 70-year-old man who died Saturday afternoon after being pulled from a lake in Stow was formerly the fire chief in Hudson, according to the Hudson Fire Department. Stow resident Frederick Dusseault was pulled from Lake Boon after police and firefighters responded to a call about a man falling in the lake around 11:30 a.m., Stow authorities said previously. First responders found him in the water being assisted by a bystander and helped the bystander pull him out.
