Black Trump Ally Makes Bizarre Race Attack On Kamala Harris During Rally Speech

Black Trump supporter Michaelah Montgomery made bizarre and false race-based attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris during one of the speeches to open former President Donald Trump’s rally.

Last week during a stunning appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention, Trump falsely claimed Harris once identified exclusively as “Indian-American” until “all of a sudden she made a turn and she became a Black person.”

He and his allies continued to press the attack on social media and at rallies, despite widespread criticism and debunking of the false claims that Harris ever identified exclusively as Indian-American or ever shied away from identifying as Black .

Mongomery gave a speech as one of the opening acts at Trump’s rally in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, during which she leveled her own version of the attacks:

A few days ago, President Trump said he didn’t know Vice President Harris was a Black woman. I’m trying to figure out what all the outrage is about because she’s only Black when it’s time to get elected.

Did I lie?

The same Black people who are mad at Trump for being confused about her race, ethnicity, nationality, whatever, are seemingly forgetting that while you’re touting her as a savior for Black people, she identifies as an Asian woman!

She chose her side and it wasn’t ours!

When asked if she would ever do anything specifically for Black people, she said no.

In reality, Harris did frequently speak about her policy agenda specifically for Black Americans during her last presidential campaign. As CNN’s Daniel Dale and many other fact-checkers have pointed out , Harris has always identified as Black, while also highlighting and celebrating her Indian heritage.

Montgomery has become a MAGA celebrity since a viral appearance at an Atlanta photo op in April.
