Joe Rogan Clarifies He’s Not Endorsing RFK Jr. — And Is Not ‘The Guy to Get Political Information From’

Popular podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan clarified on Friday that he did not fully endorse RFK Jr. for president and also noted that he’s not “the guy to get political information from.” Rogan came under fire from MAGA influencers as headlines went viral saying that Rogan had chosen RFK Jr. over Trump.

Rogan shared a viral clip of him talking about the 2024 presidential election this week in which he said that RFK Jr. is “the only one that makes sense to me” running in 2024. Donald Trump himself replied to Rogan’s comments on Friday, writing, “It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024.”

Rogan captioned the clip and wrote, “For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFKjr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence.”

“I think we could use more of that in this world,” Rogan continued, adding:

I also think Trump raising his fist and saying “fight!” after getting shot is one of the most American fucking things of all time.

Rogan has long come under fire for promoting inaccurate information, doubting the Covid vaccines, and using racial slurs in the past. Spotify CEO Daniel Ek , who pays Rogan hundreds of millions of dollars, addressed some of those controversies in February 2022, saying , “I do not believe that silencing Joe is the answer.”

Dave Smith , a libertarian who has been linked to the party’s infamous social media presence, also addressed Rogan’s praise for RFK Jr. online. Smith wrote:

Trump supporters have a lot of nerve flipping out because @joerogan said some nice things about RFK.

During the greatest assault on liberty in modern US history, Trump praised lockdowns, demonized countries not locking down and brags to this day about the bs vax.

Rogan, on the other hand, had the biggest platform in the country and relentlessly exposed the entire con for what it was, in heroic fashion.

I’m not endorsing Bobby Kennedy (neither is Joe btw) but he can support whoever the hell he wants to and if people who are voting for President lockdown warp speed have a problem, maybe they should consider the possibility that their guy should be less awful on stuff.
