‘This is Just a Remix?!’ Jon Stewart Airs Clips of Trump Insulting Kamala Harris With the Exact Same Digs He Attacked Biden

The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart roasted Donald Trump’s lines of attack on Vice President Kamala Harris by presenting clips showing many are simply recycled insults he used against President Joe Biden .

On Monday, Stewart showed a compilation of clips, some from when Biden was still running for reelection and the others after Harris moved to the top of the ticket and earned Biden’s endorsement. Talking about Harris, Trump said in various interviews and at rallies that a Harris presidency would bring an economic crash similar to the Great Depression in 1929, potential World War III, and he said “suburbs will be overrun.”

In clips talking about Biden, Trump also predicted World War III and and a destroyed “suburbia.”

“This is just a remix?” a stunned Stewart said. “Dude, you can’t just find and replace Biden with Kamala. That’s lazy apocalypsing. Look man, if you want us to genuinely fear your opponent as the existential threat you’d like to make them out to be, you’re going to have to do better than boilerplate, cut and paste shit. You’re better than this, Donald!”

Stewart then played more clips in which the former president on different occasions called Biden the “worst president” in history and Harris the “worst vice president” in history. On different occasions, he also referred to each as “low IQ” and “worse than Bernie,” referring to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

“This is bullshit, man! This is like when Elton John changed like three words and then pretended Candle in the Wind was always about [Princess] Diana . It wasn’t!” Stewart joked.

The comedian also expressed shock over the fact that Trump has called Harris a “liar” on multiple occasions.

“He’s like the Michael Jordan of lying or, as Donald Trump would say it, the Willie Brown of of lying!” Stewart said.

He also roasted Trump recounting a near-helicopter crash in the ’90s in which he said former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown (D) was onboard and supposedly said negative things about Harris, whom he was in a relationship with. The problem is Brown has denied being on the helicopter and two people have also backed up the fact that he wasn’t there.

Nate Holden , a former Los Angeles city councilman and state senator, told Politico on Friday that he was the one of the helicopter with Trump.

“Willie is the short Black guy living in San Francisco,” Holden said . “I’m a tall Black guy living in Los Angeles.”
