A Minnesotan business owner who was jailed for violating the state’s Covid-19 orders stunned Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer by called her governor Tim Walz a “criminal” who should be impeached.

Lisa Hanson joined Fox for an interview on Wednesday morning, and accused the Minnesota governor of implementing policies that shut down her bar during the pandemic because it was a “non-essential business.”

“The liquor stores and strip clubs actually got to stay open. So November came, and again, I told my husband, I said, ‘we can’t do this. We can’t survive, another shutdown,” Hanson said. “I decided I was either going to, close my business permanently because we couldn’t afford to stay in business any longer or I was going to open up fully.”

The mother of eight was then given a warning to shut down her business, before she was sentenced to 90 days in jail for her refusal. She served two-thirds the sentence. She ended the interview by claiming Walz is a “criminal” who should be removed from office and prosecuted.

HANSON: His policies destroy the American people’s rights. The Minnesotans rights, to be specific. He destroyed so many businesses in the state of Minnesota never to open again. He destroyed so many lives in Minnesota. Literally. The man is a criminal, and he should be impeached. And he should be prosecuted.

HEMMER: Wow. It’s really tough language. We hope to get him on, and we’ll have some questions about this, and we’ll we’ll get his view on it. Lisa, thank you for coming on today. You have since moved to Iowa.
