Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. unleashed on the Democratic Party as the “elitist” party of “Big Tech, Big Pharma, and Wall Street” in a tirade that came just one day after reports that he privately sought a cabinet position under nominee Kamala Harris .

In the post via X on Thursday, he criticized Democrats for what he called “the coronation of its candidates by corporate donors and party elites.”

As the son of Democratic lawmaker Bobby Kennedy and nephew to former President John F. Kennedy , RFK Jr. contrasted their values with Harris’s and argued that the party “would be unrecognizable to my father and uncle.”

The Democratic Party of RFK and JFK was the party of civil liberties and free speech. VP Harris‘s is the party of censorship, lockdowns, and medical coercion.

Kennedy Democrats were anti-war. Kamala‘s is riddled with neocon warmongers.

The RFK/JFK dems were allies of Main Street, cops, firefighters, and working people. VP Harris’s is the Party of Big Tech, Big Pharma and Wall Street.

My dad and uncle’s party was the champion of voting rights and fair elections. VP Harris’ is the party of lawfare, disenfranchisement, and the coronation of its candidates by corporate donors and party elites.

The independent candidate signed off with a vow to “defeat” the Democrats at the polls in November, saying that he had “no plans to endorse Kamala Harris for President.”

Yet, despite the public denunciation, behind closed doors, RFK Jr.’s campaign reportedly reached out to Harris’s camp, as it had done with the Trump campaign, offering to endorse her in exchange for a prominent role in her administration.

On Wednesday, the Washington Post reported, and two sources told the CBS News , that RFK Jr.’s campaign reached out to her campaign last week to explore the possibility of joining her administration if she wins the presidential election in November.

According to one of the sources, Harris and her team have neither responded nor shown any interest in the proposal.

One source told CBS News: “No one has any intention of negotiating with a MAGA-funded fringe candidate who has sought a position with Donald Trump in exchange for an endorsement.”
