‘Why is Kamala an Expert on Tacos?!’ Fox’s Will Cain Gets Angry at Tim Walz’s ‘White Guy Tacos’ Comment

Fox & Friends co-host Will Cain was NOT happy with Vice President Kamala Harris after a clip emerged of her challenging Gov. Tim Walz on “ white guy tacos. ”

At issue was a viral clip of Harris and Walz amicably chatting about random stuff, and Walz mentioned his preference for old-school tacos and disinclination for spicy food. The members of the Democratic ticket interviewed on another, which Fox & Friends delighted to air for viewers if only to ridicule them. Fox News viewers saw a portion of the clip:

Walz: I have white guy tacos and what is.

Harris: Like, mayonnaise and tuna? What do you do?

Walz: Pretty much ground beef and cheese.

Harris: That’s okay. Do you put any flavor in it?

Walz: No. They said to be careful and let her know this. That black pepper is the top of the spice level in Minnesota.

The light moment between the two came with laughter and charm, but that didn’t keep the Fox & Friends co-hosts from showing abject disgust at the Democratic ticket. Lawrence Jones expressed shocked disgust by saying “black pepper,” but it was Cain who was pissed.

“Why is  Kamala the expert on tacos!? ” he asked rhetorically, suggesting she was out of her place to opine on this Mexican-American street food.

“That’s why your takeaway?” Brian Kilmeade asked before Jones wisely added, “I ain’t going.there.”

“Yeah, I mean, like, she’s dunking on him about tacos?” Cain followed up. “What is she?”

“Did she say white guy tacos are tuna in mayonnaise?” after which Cain’s co-hosts helped him figure out what was happening.

Of course, the Harris-Walz clip was shared as a lark, and Fox & Friends’ angry reaction was illustrative of a predisposition to show outrage at anything to emerge from the Democratic ticket, regardless of how absurd the criticism is.
