Former President Donald Trump raged at CNN’s Van Jones on Sunday for touting and agreeing with Vice President Kamala Harris , saying he did more to help the Democratic commentator with criminal justice than the current administration and ever got any thanks for it.

In fact, in 2018 and other times since, Van Jones specifically gave Trump credit on that very issue .

On Sunday afternoon, the GOP nominee took to his social media platform to rage at a number of issues related to Harris, including the fact that she received praise recently from Jones over her economic agenda and other issues.

Trump responded on Sunday by raging at Jones as a “lowlife” and claiming he “begged” Trump to sign a criminal justice reform bill, in a Truth Social post with a screenshot of a “Catturd” post from X/Twitter.

“Lightweight Political commentator Van Jones begged me, while in the Oval Office and with tears flowing from his eyes, to help get Criminal Justice Reform approved by the United States Senate,” Trump wrote to his followers.

He added, “I got it done, with Conservative help, and this lowlife, Jones, never once called to thank me, or the others that helped, for what we had done.”

Trump concluded, “Along with Opportunity Zones, the long term funding of HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, and much more, I’ve done more for our black population than anyone other than, perhaps, Abraham Lincoln!!! Sorry, but that’s the way it is!!!”
