Fox’s Karl Rove Warns GOP He’s Never Seen Anything Like Dem Reaction to Kamala Harris: Falling ‘In Love’ And ‘In Line’

Fox News’ Karl Rove warned the GOP that Democrats are falling “in line” and “in love” with Vice President and presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Tuesday.

After first musing that the party has “plenty of time” to introduce Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, to the country at the Democratic National Convention , Rove mused that “if you do it successfully as it’s been done in 2008, as it was done in 2000, it carries you on to victory.”

After a panel discussion about the state of the race and how inflation might affect it, anchor Dana Perino came back to Rove .

“Karl, last night you said that Democrats are falling in love and in line. Have you ever seen anything like it?” she asked.

No,” replied Rove. This is normally what Republicans do is fall in line. But Democrats normally fall in love. And they’re doing both this time around.”

Still, he warned that inflation could come back to bite the Harris campaign:

I want to come back to something that Marie [Harf] said, though. Bidenomics, we were given a year and a half of “Things are better than you think they are, and we’ve done a good job.” And that grates on the ordinary American because they see it every day. Now, grocery prices actually are not what’s driving inflation today. It’s services, rent, insurance, those kind of things. The cost of a car is dropping, cost of used cars are dropping a lot. Food prices have moderated in in some instances begun to drop. But saying “Things are better than you think they are and we’ve done a great job” is what the American people say “Uh-uh, you created this, and I’m still adjusting to the fact that I’m spending a lot more and my paycheck ain’t keeping up with it.” Bidenomics was a terrible label. I went to, I had a marketing class I learned one thing: If you got a lousy product, do not put your name on it.
