‘We Need a Medic Here!’ Kamala Harris Directs From Stage During Medical Crisis At Rally In Dramatic Video

Vice President and Democratic Nominee for President Kamala Harris directed the crowd and medical personnel when a rally attendee had a medical crisis in the middle of a speech in a dramatic moment.

The Democratic National Convention ( DNC ) that kicked off in Chicago Monday night kept rolling on Tuesday with Day Two speeches from former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama , Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff , and a host of others.

At the same time, VP Harris and running mate Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) held a rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Fiserv Forum — attracting a crowd estimated at more than 15,000.

And while Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) was speaking at the DNC, VP Harris took to the stage in Milwaukee to thunderous applause. But toward the end of the speech, audience members alerted Harris to a medical crisis.

Harris directed the crowd and the medical personnel, and when the person turned out to be okay, turned the incident into an object lesson:

And that is how we fulfilled the promise of America. The promise of America. And it is that promise of America–.

We need a medical assistant here. Okay. We need a nurse or we need a medic here, please.

Let’s just make a– let’s make a path. Let’s make a path. If y’all don’t mind, just let’s make a path to right here. Let’s just create a path. Right here. Let’s create a path, guys, and thanks for looking out each other. Look out for each other. But let’s let’s create a path for the medics.

All right. This is who we are, right? This is what we’re about. Looking out for each other. The thing–. We care about each other.

You know, it’s about truly understanding what love thy neighbor means. It’s about, in the face of a perfect stranger, seeing a neighbor, understanding what that love of each other means.

It’s a big difference between what we’re talking about and what’s on the other side.
