Fox News’ Karl Rove argued that while Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s reportedly impending endorsement of Donald Trump may only be a “small” help in absolute terms, it could have an “impact” in swing states like Georgia and Arizona on Wednesday night.

Rove offered his analysis after host Laura Ingraham observed that “that tomorrow it looks like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is going to drop out of the race and endorse President Trump” and asked him “How could that play?”

“Well, we don’t know exactly. We don’t know who’s left in the Robert Kennedy camp. My gut tells me it probably helps Donald Trump because the people who were for him because he was a Kennedy, I think they began leaving after Joe Biden pulled out on the 21st. So a small amount of help,” replied Rove. “But as you know, in a race like this, I mean, think about it. Did he have 10,000 followers in Georgia? Did he have 11,000 followers in Arizona? And then how did they split? Probably not dispositive, but it could have an impact.”

Harris Faulkner followed up by observing that both Trump and Kennedy are set to be in Arizona on Friday when Kennedy is expected to throw his support behind Trump.

“A lot of this in the last 24 to 36 hours has really come together. So it looks like Friday, I would say this, all of the votes that he [Kennedy] would have gotten, he’s not on the ballot everywhere, but he’d get about 6% of the vote out there,” said Faulkner. “It was trending against Trump and it was going to hurt him more than Kamala Harris . Reports are that he went to Kamala Harris’s campaign and said, ‘Can I join you?'”

“Well, Karl, to my point, I think you said this awhile ago: This is where they [Democrats] didn’t play it right with him [Kennedy]. They should have just had a vigorous debate. Just get on stage and debate him!” submitted Ingraham. “That hurt them!”

“Well, I think he’s got a lot of antagonism with the Democrats because they’ve gone in and actively tried to keep him off of ballots,” agreed Rove.
