DNC Speakers Don’t Recall Harris’s Policies When Pressed by Fox News: ‘You Should Interview Kamala’

Several speakers and attendees at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this week were unable to recall exactly what Vice President Kamala Harris’s policies were after being pressed by Fox News producer Johnny Belisario.

After Belisario asked Star Wars actor and DNC attendee Mark Hamill, “What is Kamala’s economic plan?” Hamill hesitated before replying, “I’m supposed to state policy? Are you out of your mind?”

California Gov. Gavin Newsom was similarly unwilling to state Harris’s economic policy on camera.

Asked whether he would appeared on Fox News host Jesse Watters’ show, Newsom replied, “You want me a full-time host with Jesse or something? We can do like the old Hannity show, Hannity & Colmes.”

“Mr. Newsom, what is Kamala’s economic policy?” Belisario then pressed, prompting Newsom to respond, “What is her economic policy? You want me to answer that right now? You want me to lay it out? She just laid it out for you last week.”

After DNC speaker Rev. Al Sharpton was asked simply, “What is Kamala’s policies?” Sharpton told Belisario, “You should interview Kamala.”

Another speaker at the DNC this week, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), opted to walk away from Belisario upon being asked the same question.

“What are Kamala’s policies?” questioned the Fox News producer, to which Thompson replied, “Who you mean Kamala? Would you give her some recognition?”

After Belisario followed up with, “Kamala Harris. What are her policies?” Thompson shot back, “You don’t know?”

“Do you?” asked Belisario, at which point Thompson walked away.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), meanwhile, was seemingly unaware whether Watters was a man or a woman.

After Belisario asked Pelosi whether she would appear on Jesse Watters Primetime as a guest, Pelosi replied, “I don’t even know what you’re talking about. I don’t watch Fox.”

She then asked, “Is that a woman or a man?”

On his show, Thursday evening, Watters responded by accusing Pelosi of misgendering him.
