Bill O’Reilly Goes Off On Chris Cuomo Over DNC, Kamala Harris Debate: ‘You Just Going to Babble?!’

An interview between NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo and Bill O’Reilly turned into chaos as the pair became increasingly annoyed with each other while discussing Vice President Kamala Harris’s speech at the Democratic National Convention.

During their Thursday discussion, the two first got heated when O’Reilly knocked Harris for not offering “specifics” in her DNC speech and accused her of lying when she said reproductive rights had been “wiped out” following the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade.

“They removed a law! They vacated a decision and gave it to the states to decide. They removed a national standard,” Cuomo pushed back.

“Baloney! They kicked it back to the state. If you got a beef, beef the state! California and New York? You can have whatever you want,” O’Reilly said.

The two continued down that path until O’Reilly sarcastically said, “Let’s remove the Supreme Court then!”

“That’s an absurd statement,” Cuomo shot back.

“No, it’s not. You’re absurd!” O’Reilly responded.

“Find a lawyer that doesn’t tell you you sound like an idiot. Make another point,” Cuomo said.

“Is that all you got? That I sound like an idiot? Is that all you got?” O’Reilly said.

The two managed to move beyond reproductive rights but quickly got into another heated exchange. O’Reilly criticized Harris for being too generic in her speech and not naming specific policies. Cuomo called this a “nonsense standard” and argued that a convention speech is not intended to be specific.

“Are you going to let me talk at least a little, or are you just going to babble? If you want to babble, go babble!” O’Reilly said as Cuomo repeatedly pushed back.

“Listen, it’s my show. If I want to babble, I’ll babble. I’m giving you time on it,” Cuomo said.

“It’s impossible to get through with you. It’s impossible,” O’Reilly said, adding, “This whole thing is ridiculous.”

The former Fox News host credited Donald Trump with a more specific convention speech.

“If you look at Trump’s speech, and I’m not a spokesman for Trump, remain in Mexico, very specific. I had nothing to do with [Project] 2025, very specific. I don’t want to cut Medicare and Social Security, very specific,” he said.

O’Reilly and Cuomo could not end their interview without one final beef, which came in the form of O’Reilly referring to Harris as “this woman.”

“I hear you. She should be doing interviews. I wouldn’t call her this woman. I’d call her vice president or say her name. Sounds less disrespectful,” Cuomo said.

“I’m not disrespectful of her,” O’Reilly shot back.

“Saying this woman? I don’t know that you’d like anybody talking about your kid that way,” Cuomo said.
