Trump Claims Zuckerberg Admission Proves Once And For All The ‘2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION WAS RIGGED’

Former President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump used Mark Zuckerberg’s admission that Facebook succumbed to government pressure to censor disfavored views to back up his long-running and false contention that the 2020 election was rigged against him on Tuesday.

On Monday, Zuckerberg addressed a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) in which he admitted that the Biden administration pressured Facebook to censor views about Covid-19 and that the FBI while Trump was president, warned it about a Russian disinformation plot about the Biden family, which led the social media company to demote the New York Post ‘s story about Hunter Biden’s missing laptop.

“It’s since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, we shouldn’t have demoted the story,” wrote Zuckerberg.

On Truth Social, Trump took a victory lap, believing that the varied conspiracy theories he has put forward to explain how he actually prevailed over Joe Biden in 2020 had finally paid off.

“Zuckerberg admits that the White House pushed to SUPPRESS HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY (& much more!). IN OTHER WORDS, THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION WAS RIGGED. FoxNews, New York Post, Rep. Laurel Lee , House Judiciary Committee,” wrote Trump.

While the suppression of the laptop story on Facebook and Twitter has often been cited by conservatives as proof of media bias that could have had an impact on the election, most of the conspiracy theories offered by Trump and his most passionate supporters have centered around voter fraud.

“If you count the legal votes, I easily win,” said Trump at the White House two days after election day in November 2020. “If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us. If you count the votes that came in late we’re looking at them very strongly but a lot of votes came in late.”
